Title is pretty self explainatory. In Calgary I used to bring a couple buckets and bucket-wash my car at a self-spray car wash at night or off-peak hours when they weren't busy.

Anybody know places in the GTA where they allow this? (or at least don't really mind it)

I would imagine any coin car wash facilities would allow you. I go to these facilities on a regular basis (during the morning hrs) and there are people that I had seen do what you do and everybody just minded their business and said nothing.

Until the operator of the facility requests you not to do it, then keep on doing your own thing !

Most don't allow such a thing on an official basis, but as long as there's not a lineup, you can do it and nobody will say anything to you.

Almost every time I wash my car at these places in the summer, there's at least one person washing their car by hand. I also do it myself quite often. As long as there's no lineup, the operator won't say anything to you.

I actually bring my own wash mitten, california water blade, chamois,
wheel cleaner and brush...

but i only go @ the off peak hours, like 9am on a weekend morning.
no line ups at all..... take my time in the stall.... no problems at all...

i never, never, never use their wash brush, as i've seen trucks,
mid-size deliever trucks, contructions vehicles, etc used the same brush,
on every little area......
