You can get SAMSUNG SCX4828FN for a $207 at FS right now. I think it's a pretty good price for this printer. I researched multifunctions a bit and couldn't find better printer (well, for a ~$200 at least :)
It has:
-network
-duplex
-print/copy/fax/scan (over network, to email, to usb).

Last time FS had it on sale, it was $199. Too bad Staples only carries the scx4826fn or else I can pricematch and use my $20 coupon code.

I bought this one at FS last month for $199.
I only wish I can find a place where they sell the toner for this printer cheaper.

How do you like the unit? Is it worth $207 + Taxes?
Thanks!

Well, I have only printed about 60 pages so, and seem to be OK. I know this is not much of an answer for your question.

Samsung's Business Class printers (ie this one) are absolute beasts. They take a beating and will outlive your kids.
Great reviews here

The only thing is that I find the MLT-D209S toner cartridge ($60) good for only 2,000 page is kind of expensive.
Any body knows where I can them cheaper?
Thanks

What's the difference b/t the SCX-4828FN and the SCX-4826FN anyway?

The main difference is 4828 is automatic duplex but 4826 is manual. And the output capacity of 150/100 respectively.
I've got the 4828 mainly because of duplex.

Staples sells the SCX-4826FN for 199.99... currently there is a $20 off 150 so that brings the price down to 179.99. Futureshop has the SCX-4828FN on sale for 229.99.
~$50 difference for manual duplex and less paper capacity... is it worth it??
Are the cartridges the same? Has anyone found a cheaper refill?

This was $179.99 at FS during the Boxing Day Sale. Great Printer, network feature is great if you have multiple PCs in the house and don't always leave the one it's connected to on.

Well just bought the SCX4826fn... 199.99 - 20 coupon = 179.99
Guess what, the man isn't lying it has AUTO-DUPLEXING!!!!
I think it's either Samsung trying to market up something or they just screwed up on the specs - but it does auto-duplex without issue.
Go to a Staples and see for yourself - very good printer, the thing is a beast.
Word of caution, the package barely fits in a mid-size sedan!!

FS was selling 4828fn for $179.99. during the box week. I picked up one that time. I did not really print that much. I can't comment.

I bought this when it was 199.99 at FS... I also need to find a place with cheap toners, they are so expensive!
The printer is really quiet and scans are of good quality, copying is also good as well. Haven't tried the fax, but meh that is outdated crap.
It prints quietly and quickly with excellent crispness, and I really can't say more... except I wish the warmup time was a bit faster.

It's $40 including shipping + possible customs when it comes across the border. It's supposed to last 3000 pages.
(You can find a genuine Samsung 5000 page cartridge for just over $100 + tax -- http://www.pricecanada.com/detail.php?product_id=575728&sku=MLTD209L%2FXAA )

I've now refilled twice with the toner refills that I had bought for my old Samsung SCX-4216 printer, and everything seems to be working fine. Refilling the MLT-D209S cartridge is pretty easy...just requires a screwdriver and popping off a removable hole cover. But the refills I used don't come with a switch or chip compatible with the OEM cartridge for the SCX-4828FN, so the printer is still reporting that it's out of toner. It's printing, copying and faxing without any problems, though.
