Hey guys,
I've been with belair for about a year, no claims yet and so far I am happy with their customer service. I heard someone tell me though that they did have problems waiting for them to deal with an accident so they switch to State Farm.
Just curious how well they treat their customers if something happens?

I have had Belair for many years, 10 +. No problem, even had a claim four years back...a woman stepped on the gas pedal went backwards instead of forward full blast and my car was written off. My only comment is if you ever have a claim, negotiate with them, do not settle for their first payout, even negotiate the deductable. I negotiated everything, even after they said no over and over again.

I'm a tiny bit unhappy with them just because they are advertising "1st accident claim forgiveness" all the time, but wouldn't budge for us when we had an accident. Our premiums went up about 33%

perhaps you didn't purchase the coverage to protect against your first at fault loss? If you did, and had a loss and then they charged you...then you have a case to present to them right....? check your policy...and "tiny bit unhappy?"...I'd be ALOT UNHAPPY...lol

different rates, different underwriting guidelines and you deal with a broker....
