When is a Good time to buy from Futureshop?

I see a canon camera on sale for $199..(save $50) but I know futureshop sometimes lies in their ads. I've seen them alter the original price to make it seem like you are saving a lot when in reality, the sale price IS the original price.

So I don't know if this is a good deal or not. When do the REAL sales start?
