Hey hey, I can say the same about you. I've been working since summer's end, but I promissed my spanish professor to install a satellite dish for him, so that he can watch his Cuban television lol.

FTA is not illegal in anyway.
modifying and implementing firmware to circumvent security encryption is.

99.9% of people use FTA illegally. Period.
Honestly, how exciting can Al-Jezeera TV be?

For chrissake, just help out the man. He wants to know where to get the hardware. How he uses it later is only his concern. No need for morality speeches. He may catch free channels or he may choose to use the dish as a salad bowl. :D

FTA viewing is legal and anyone who says otherwise either works for Expressvu or has stock in Bell.
Case closed!

If you live in Canada it is 100% legal to catch ANY satellite signal that comes your way and is NOT Canadian owned (eg Echo Star 110 & 119).
If you are catching Canadian satellites like BellVu, then it's illegal.
There's not much more to it. Now whether it's moral or not it's for everyone to decide for themselves.
