My 5yo wants a camera for Christmas. I already bought my older kids really nice Fugi's for just over $100 but I really don't want to spend that much on a 5yo who may break it. I've looked at the kids ones but really, they take crap pictures and are still in the $60 range. What I want is an older model digital for her....it doesn't have to have any bells and whistles, just take decent pics. Trouble is stores sell off all their older models as new models appear so I can't seem to find one. Does anybody know of a place, maybe online, where I can still get an older model camera? Hopefully a brand name.

yeah the fuji special is hard to miss but if you want one for a child you can get those big (kid size so they can hold it well) which although have low megapixel, they are very durable and have games on them too

forgot the name of it though.

I ended up getting my 4yo a reburb Kodak (5M) from Tiger Direct last year, priced about $60 (I think). It still works but pic quality isn't as good as a Canon.

While visiting my sister's family last week, I discovered that my 7 year old nephew has quite a flair for photograpphy. I kept handing off my camera to him and was amazed at the quality of his pics. I need to find that kid an inexpensive camera.
