snowboarding butt pad and wrist guards

I'm going to be trying snowboarding for the first time and looking for some safety gear. Anyone have some wrist guards or a butt pad for sale? I'm male about 5'8" and waist 31.
preferably in the Toronto area.

I was all conscience about safety when i starting to snowboard, i bought the wrist guards, used them for 10 minutes and never touched them again.

You seriously do not need the but thing, by the end of the first day, you should be standing up, and doing just fine
