I was wondering how i can get a US credit card for when i go over to the states i can use that credit card instead of a canadian one and not get those hefty service charges.
I called TD. They have one but there's an annual fee of $120. I dont want to pay no annual fee

Perhaps you can read one of the many previous threads on this issue by using the search function and asking further questions in one of those?

BMO USD card has no fee and you can add a reward option. http://www.bmo.com/mosaik/usd

Whoever said $120 is Pinocchio. Here's what a Google search yielded, $25 USD fee.

Actually the charges aren't actually that hefty. It's just a currency conversion plus 2.5% so it's not too too bad.
A US Credit card isn't a bad idea if you *have* a lot of USD so you don't need to convert it to pay your CAD card off. If you are converting CAD you might not save anything. Keep in mind that Banks take a cut when you convert the cash anyway. Sometimes it's even worse than the credit card rate.
Also you can also potentially loose out (or gain). Rewind a couple months ago when the dollar was still near par. People who charged items to their USD card and converted CAD --> USD to pay it off later pretty much all lost out big when the dollar declined later on.
