Did a search and didn't find anything other than the similar deal last year at the same time when spending 100$ or more. This year, you only need to spend 75$ or more, and considering 15K points is worth 40$ if you wait to trade 75K points for 200$ this is a really great way to boost your points...

Edit: Looks like this deal is Atlantic provinces only, and 100$ or more in other provinces.

I was in shoppers earlier and saw the sign says spend 100 get 15,000 points, but in their store announcement, they say $75 or more. I am confused. Maybe store-specific?

I finally have enough points for a redemption, but wondeirng how this works... Say I want to buy a digital camera from them (over $100) - so I get the 15,000 bonus points - got that part. Can I get the 15,000 points immediately and then redeem them (along with my other points) to pay for said camera?

Actually, its quite similar to a 20x the points and can actually work out as better. The only difference is that you need to spend 75$ and not 50$ which is quite often the cut-off for the 20x the points events.

If you spend pretty much exactly 75$, you'll get 15K points on top of the regular points. On a 20x the points promo, you'll get 15K points spending 75$ which equals 20x the points. So in this weeks promo you'll actually get 750 points more. That assumes you spend exactly 75 on each...The 20x promo works better if:

a) you only want to spend 50$ or more
b) you end up spending 79$+ because you'll continue to receive 20x the points and not simply a lump sum of 15K points.

This weeks promo works better if you spend between >75$ and <79$

you cannot earn points and redeem at the same transaction. If you want to buy two cameras, it is ok. first one you get 15000 points and redeem points for second camera
