+1. You won't find that price in-store.

This is a Class 4, might as well pick up the Class 6 CoreMicro (http://www.coremicro.ca/smile/index.html) 8GB SDHC card at RCSS for $19.99.

I think if you'd waited until 5PM, you could have gotten it for 14.99?

By boxing day you should be able to find a class 6 for the same price or close to it... worth the wait, class determines your write speed.. usefull for shooting video or multi frames per sec shots...

Thanks shopper-X for the "heads up" on the CoreMicro 8 GB SDHC card at RCSS for $19.99.......given that it's a class 6 card, I think this may be a better deal, however, it depends on your digital capture needs and card useage.

Thanks again

ive never heard of this brand before..so i'd stick to kingston, even tho its only class 4...

i got 1 at fs weston. sales guy was confused as i showed him the online price, didnt know wat to do so he asked his super, super says honor it but check to see if it says online exclusively, it was not, he then called his manager ryan, ryan says ok...i then suggested theres also a 10% discout goin on at the moment, he asked ryan again, then ryan responded by saying, we're sellin this below cost and you are the last person that will be able to get this and after you i am pulling all stocks!

what a douche bag! so i ended up paying 16.66*1.13=$18.83, hopefully it'll perform ok once i get my hf100 hopefully within a week

Pulling stock is the lowest of the low moves and you should checked if he pulled the stock and report him to HO. These types of managers really need to learn the consequences of these types of actions.

CoreMicro is a Canadian Technology Company. These SDHC memory cards are actually designed & assembled in Canada.....I think, given the current global economic situation, that's a GOOD thing and for a Class 6 card, it's a Win-Win situation here for the Canadian consumer !! Let's help to employ each other :)

Ordered one for ISPU. Came up to $16.94 after taxes. Don't know if this will work though since no one seems to have suggested that ISPU works yet in this thread. We'll see what happens though I guess.

I have no write results from this Kingston or the Class 6 CoreMirco brand, but the Class designation only defines the MINIMUM write speed. This might not be the actual write speed. I have seen test results that actually show certain brands of Class4 cards are actually faster read/write than other brands of Class6 cards.

Certainly could add to the confusion out there.

Like, I said, I have no results that would compare this Kingston Class4 to other cards.

Definitely, a Sandisk Ultra II class 4 outperforms generic class 6 from my actual experience.

However, this particular Kingston probably a real class 4, because Kingston has its own high speed line. Kingston SD has good reliability record though. I will trust Kingston more than generic brand, it has very good QC process.

Can anyone still add this to their cart at the sale price?

The site still says $16.66 but adds to the cart at the full price @ $87.99.

Online retailer memoryhouse.com usually has great prices for SD cards. Currently, A-data class 6 is

4GB: 10.21$,
8GB: 17.07$,
16GB: 34.94$.

The sweet part is that there's no PST for Ontario, S/H is only 4$, and shipping is fast (2 days). The 16GB card is especially attractive - I ordered this card from them twice. The total is 40.90$ shipped to Ontario (which would correspond to the local price of 36.20$ before taxes, which is a great price).
