Attention:Possible scammer "supers-box390" suspicious

Recently I bought a video card (8800GT) from 'supers-box390' and after I paid him the money via EMT he just stops responding to me.

I waited for a reply for about 24hrs or so and noticed that he does login to read my message but no replies. In which I got suspicious and I posted on his BST thread and was brought into my attention that this is not his first time scamming people.

I have message the moderator 'nsx' and was advised to create a thread to help track this issue.

I thought I did take precautions of who I am dealing with but I guess it was not enough and therefore fell into his trap. He does not seem like a scammer to me at first but I this is where I went wrong.

I urge everyone to be careful especially when the holiday season is just around the corner.

Forgot to add, he's got way too many repeat offenses and general bad trading habits, even if he doesn't scam. Just get rid of him from this site. RFD members IMHO have much higher standing to me than on other sites, and I'd like to keep it that way.

he's a long time scammer in here and it's well known - i have no idea why he's not banned -- did the same thing to me here in '06 - i sent money order which he cashed , and it's the last you hear from him - he doesn't realize if i lived closer to him , he'd never scam anyone again -

I've been deceived myself a few weeks ago (I started a thread about it yesterday). I can't offer any smart advice but have you contacted the bank you sent EMT from? My thinking may be naive but they should be interested in a fact that someone uses THEIR system for fraud so they might be more efficient in dealing with this scum than any lawyer. Good luck and be persistent.
