I received an issue but I was surprised to see it being the May 2007 issue with Chris Bosh on the cover. That's just messed up.

i remember when they did their promo when Kobe scored like 83 points. This is an even better deal! It took a couple months for me to start getting my subscriptions. You can always contact their customer service and ask about your mags and see where they're at.

I got a notice in the mail from them that I'd be receiving my last issue this month& that my free year was up, and then I'd be billed if I want to continue a new year. (some extremely ridiculous price!)

So to be on the safe side, I called the # on the invoice and cancelled it ASAP, rather than mailing it in. It's definitely not worth paying for....but still was a great freebie!:lol:

I think it's an old link (offer), because back sometime last year it did say "FREE year subscription"..yup definitely not worth the $24. I just called them the other day to cancel because my one-year is up...so I'm pretty sure it was FREE sometime last year.


If I'm not mistaken, the mags were free at Champs or Athletes World (in store) or something a while ago. Not sure if it still is.

Maybe you can call the toll free number (877) 805-8651 and ask them if they still offer the 1year free trial subscriptions, you never know, they may still offer it to you!
