Well I've sold a few knick knacks and odd end pieces in the past, but this time I have a rather large order I bought discounted at a warehouse that I'd sell on ebay.

I prefer not to say what it is, but it is seasoned item. Does it make more sense for me to hold on until the summer where it will be in higher demand, or will the Christmas season be just as appropriate?

Should I list each individual one at a time, or all at once? Do you guys have tips?

Some basic steps / questions you can consider:

1) Research the market - What are similar items going for now? Will that price earn you acceptable margins?

2) Test the market - Put up a few items that you believe will sell for the highest profit or in highest demand. Did you make the profit you wanted?

3) Make a decision - There is the risk that the demand might be less next summer. How much more do you believe you could make by selling in the summer? Does this extra profit outweigh the risk you can expect? Would it make more sense to sell right now for less profit and then just go find more product or a new product and do it again, 5, 10, 20... more times by next summer?

In my business, I don't sell anything at all... but instead, I help people import stuff.

From my experience, sell when you can and as soon as you can. New products come out all the time, and fads change extremely fast.

Why wouldn't you put it on the market now?

Although you said you've sold on ebay, if you're not familiar with the market you may get a shock on what you'll make after fees...these are some of the toughest times in selling history and ebay will see a sharp drop in Q4.

It's a waste putting on ebay, I suggest you to make a website and market that with Google Ads, Search Engine Optimization and so on. A much better investment then having items listed on Ebay.

Ebay has been dying off in the past few months, its not worth it, I have 2 Powerseller Accounts on Ebay and I had to close both because sales are worsening. Consider that I was selling on Ebay making an Income of 3 to 5 thousand USD dollars a month and sometimes even more.

The new rules of eBay crap, Ebay Live was the most deadfull event ever with angry ebayers, and so on, so just my 2cents
