I always fly out of Buffalo now, it's worth the drive for the savings and no passport needed!
Our last flight to Chicago was 1/2 of what it would have cost out of Toronto. HALF!

With taxes, a return trip is $138.50 USD. Nice find, OP.

do you just park at the airport, or do you find somewhere else to park?
How much does it cost for it?

The cost for parking is $10 per day or $50 per week for parking at the airport.
You also have the option of taking the bus from Toronto to Buffalo Airport. That way, you won't have to worry about parking your car at the Buffalo Airport.

Park at the airport. Its reasonable, can't remember the price but cheaper than TO park and fly, its also fairly secure and safe as its on the airport property not some lot away from the main airport. Also the airport is smaller so very easy to get around.

You can also park at the Budget rent a car right across from the airport. It had a coupon as well and was significantly (20%-25% IIRC) cheaper for the week. Plus, they clean the snow off the vehicle and it is almost warmed up by the time you get in!

Is this a coupon that saves 10% on the flight? If so can I please get the code?
Thanks.
Does anyone know if a passport is required to fly out of Buffalo Airport?

No, the coupon is 10% for parking. http://www.buffaloairport.com/pdfs/BNIA_Parking_Coupon.pdf
It was already said above that you currently do not need a passport to fly out of BUF. You need to present acceptable documents to get into the US (such as citizenship card or birth certificate + photo ID) and to board the flight when the airline personnel verifies your ID.

We also drive to Buffalo from the Toronto area. What we generally do it to find a reasonably priced hotel in the area that offers a park and fly option. Last time we went, we stayed over the night before and picked up the first flight in the morning. No worrying over border wait times, no worrying over driving through weather, and only 5 minutes from the airport. I think we stayed at the Comfort Inn on Transit rd, and it was about $85 for the night, including shuttle, basic breakfast, and parking for the 18 days away. Prior to that trip we stayed at the Microtel at $50+/-, including bagel and juice, +$12 each way for a taxi, with 16 days parking.

Deal is dead. Best price I could find on their site is $72 one-way in December but most are $99 (cheapest) mid-week. My wife and I would like to go in January or February.
Return flights right now from aircanada.com show just about he same costs are flying out of Buffalo even with taxes included.
I've flown out of Buffalo a few times and I prefer it over TO but are those days gone now? I can't find any good prices from BUF to Tampa.
Last year my wife and I flew from Buffalo to Orlando on in Mid January and we paid $302 Canadian, taxes in for BOTH os us. That was a really good deal.
Even Sunwing doesn't have any deals right now to speak of. I've searched sidestep.com, travelzoo and a few others and the best I can find is just over $300 per person.
Has airfare gone up that much since last year? I know gas prices went up like crazy but they're on their way back down.

You can also stay at many of the hotels around the airport the night before or the night after yoiur flight and park there for the week for free. Hotels are around $60-$90 so it works well if your flight is early or comes back late.
