Demo sale is on @ GT.

The 907 D1/D2 drivers are @ $180...the Markham store is selling them for $150 and there are only a few left.

Best thing to do is to go to another GT and get them to call for an inter-store price match for $150. The selection is great and many are in perfect condition.

A good place to start is looking at the golf digest hotlist. (http://www.golfdigest.com/equipment/ratings)

That doesn't mean other brands aren't for you though - the only way to tell for sure is to try them out and get fitted.

My wife picked up a cobra L4V (mens regular diamana rb shaft) for $180 on the weekend - unhit condition. I got a cobra speed 3w for $100, a nike sv tour 56* wedge for $40, and a mizuno mp57 3iron for $10. The only club that was 'demo' condition was my wedge.

This was at the Calgary NE and NW store. Some of the iron sets looked like good deals too.

Different strokes for different folks...

The demo sale items can be refunded within 7 days. There is no loss trying them out. I have played for years and I know what I like and what work for me...But I can't say I'm good at recommending clubs to others.
