I just started a small business and am expecting to expense $5,000-$10,000 on my credit card a year. Can anyone recommend a card out there or tell me their experiences? Cashback or points are OK, but also some sort of expense management d/l to an accounting program is nice as well.

My bank is currently BMO but they have a pretty poor credit card selection. My personal card is a Starwood (SPG) MC, but they don't have a business VISA card in Canada (They do have an Amex in US).

Or is it better just to keep using my personal card and billing my company whenever I have a business expense? I think thats twice the paperwork though and easy fodder for the auditor?

Try talking to your business account manager. When i started my business i told them i needed a visa and they gave me $5000 instantly without an application. I deal with royal bank so BMO is probably different but worth a shot.

TD visa will keep sending you statements long after you've canceled your card. I'm using a CIBC Aerogold for Business. It's costly though for 5-10K a year though. I put enough through to justify the cost. I also put my personal vacations through and get 1.5X aeroplan points. :cheesygri
