Those who got the Resistance 2 CE, is it shrink wrapped?

I got the CE at best buy today and it came in just a cardboard box with a round tape on the top closing the package, not wrapped or anything, are all of them like that?

I didn't buy it, but the one I saw a clerk holding at EB was wrapped. I am almost 99% sure because he was showing it to a customer who wanted to inquire about it while I was picking up the regular edition.

The CE is leagues better but I would rather save the $20 to try and get a 2nd game.

Keep in mind I only saw one box hidden away.

My CE copy of Resistance 2 from EBGame was not wrapped. Just a circle tape holding the box closed.

i saw 8 copies at FS Dundas and Yonge today and they were not shrink wrapped.

How is Resistance 2 anyways? I enjoyed the first one, but it felt very clunky and rushed. Is R2 any better? Online looks like CoD4 online and co-op story is epic. :)

Who noes probably wanna buy it as a collection.

I don't know many ppl that actually would collect and preserve this stuff anymore. but i guess OP is one of the rare ones, maybe. =D

Exactly. If I'm paying top dollar for a brand new game, I expect it to be fully sealed. However, if the developers claim they're not shrink wrapping to save the environment, then that's another matter entirely and I fully support that.

I was at Futureshop and considering the CE, but they had that tight security cord wrapped around it which seriously creased the box. The CE was not seal wrapped.

I ended up going to EB and doing the trade 2 + $9.99 for the new release deal (on the regular edition). The only thing I wanted in the CE was the gun skin anyway. Now if the CE was in a metal tin or something, I'd probably go for it, but an easily bashed up box I can skip.

Picked mine up and it wasn't shrink wrapped, although the game box inside the bigger one was itself. Made no difference because the actual display art had a small rip in the corner along with a bit of the clear plastic attached to the box :(. Only noticed it after removing the seal too.. so don't think I can get it exchanged. Not a big issue because its just the box but buying the CE edition, I'd want it perfect. First time I've had this issue... I guess they weren't careful when putting in the game art...

I got home late last night and planned to play around 15-20 mins which turned into 40 mins as I had lost track of time, I couldnt put it down. The scale is just so huge, its so awesome. I enjoyed the first one but this one seems like the enviroment is just massive compared to R1.

I wanted teh collectos edition too... but they were all sold out and I have the regular version. Its still sealed and I think I will try and get a Collectors edition by trading it in at another EB

Does the Collector's Edition include a Chimera figure, or is that only for the US?
