I purchased a ps3 from a member here a 40gig spider man bundle and after one month I had a hard drive failure which I replaced and worked flawlessly. Two months into it now I'm getting a blue ray drive problem because the disk is not spinning. I do not have a recite as it was from a member here... Whats the most economical way for me of fixing this...and should I send it in with my new hard drive or the old one that broke.

Just called sony and they said that I'm gonna have to pay even though that the spider man bundle was released about a year ago.

What's with the BD Optical failing? It's either happening just randomy or after a firmware upgrade.
How much does Sony want to get this fixed?

My spidee3-PS3-40GB bluray drive crapped out after 7 months, it took 8 days to get it back from service which is MTC and they do want to see receipt, I got to fax to them twice :)
