What types of food specifically can improve my brain or mind/thinking process?
Recently, I couldn't concentrate reading my school textbooks.
And whenever I attend lectures, I feel like my mind is blank. Can't analyze and can't grasp basic concepts.
I sleep 7-8 hours but still feel sleepy. But can spend hours on the internet without getting tired. Don't know if the monitor/radiation is affecting my thinking process.
What are good food to boost my mind? Coffee?
Thanks

I know what you're going through, but I think the only thing that helps is more concentration, less food breaks. Read the text and don't think about anything else. Start by graasping what a sentence is and means ( I don't know if you're at the phase where sentences go in one eye and out the other, but that happens to me when I get too tired).

Coffee would be a good idea cos you don't know whether or not Tim Hortons has different flavour of tea.

Are you trying to find something to blame for your lack of effort or a pill to make you smart?
Monitor/radiation? Perhaps you are just spending too way much time on the internet?
They say Ginko Biloba is supposed to help but I am not sure medication is what you may need.

You might want to turn off that IM stuff. You might have multitasking fatigue

gingko might make you jittery -
what is the rest of your diet like? lotsa carbs? cuz this will make you sluggish. try cutting back on some of the carbs (I don't mean throwing away all the bread from your sandwich - but maybe not the side of fries)
exercise will noticeably improve your energy. alot. tons of students don't exercise. the goofy thing is that if you make it a regular part of your day, you will have the time. there really is no excuse (20-40 minutes a day is not hard to find) it will also make you more productive when you're studying, so you'll save time there.
as for food. Fish is good. some nuts will help. and eat a couple servings of fruit and veggies every day. also take a multivitamin if you've not already. (without essential B vitamins your body can't process the food into energy - so that could be a problem right there)
