"What game are you getting" November Game Barrage edition

Hey,
Wondering what all you guys are getting. Personally I have a tough choice between LBP and R2. If I had an xbox 360, I'd probably consider Gears of War 2.

Probably going to go with Resistance 2, mainly because LBP seems like it might take some dedication to make some levels and the jumping and platforming isn't exactly my cup of tea.

Either way, November is packed with games, which ones will you be getting?

well, i already paid for Banjo so that's one game i'm getting in november. i'll probably pick up Left 4 Dead too. killing zombies, coop, can't go wrong with that.

as for the rest, i'll probably rent or wait until the holidays

why get them all then??? Most of those games will be cheap come next summer. its possible for Mirror's Edge, EndWar and Tomb Raider. Resistance 2 might become greatest hits next year easily.

This month was FPS overload.. Getting kind of sick of them..

I'll be playing Prince of Persia, Sonic Unleashed (if it gets decent reviews) Sam & Max Season 1 and Tales of Symphonia 2..

Those are the ones I'm sure of. Could also end up picking up Fable 2, and possibly even a PS3 come this holiday season if I decide that it's time.

Only have Valkyrie Chronicles pre-ordered right now. Will probably pick up Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2 off the BST forums. Then there's Mirror's Edge, Left 4 Dead, and Call of Duty. Too many great games this fall. I still need to get Dead Space too. Arrrgghhh...so many games, so little time.

Resistance will be a given dependent on how fast I can get the T2+9.99 deal at EB. The other 3 are maybes with COD5 as the likely to lose out.

Valkyria Chronicles looks interesting, I may have to try playing the demo and actually trying instead of skipping the tutorial and giving up after two minutes of not knowing what to do...

Mirror's Edge looks good as well, I liked the demo, but I have a feeling I'll probably suck at this game (as well as Valkyria Chronicles) so i may just rent it.


I don't really like first person shooters on consoles, i have gears 1 and resistance 1, and I played gears for about 15 minutes and gave up, and played resistance for an hour or two and gave up.

I also already purchased, fallout 3 and lbp for my ps3, and fable 2 for my 360. I don't think I'll spend anymore money on my wii anytime soon unless something that is really good comes out, maybe a new zelda or something, but that's about it.
