DICE, same people that made battlefield bad company
i think they actually might share the same engine as the controls are very similar (Which I like)
artstyle of this game also is pretty cool

I forced game to render in 1080p, i think someone said that's downscaling? I don't know the terminology but at 1080p the game has less jaggies but is also not as sharp looking

These screenshots are doctored by EA. The demo looks nothing like the screenshots in terms of crispness and aliasing. The game has some pretty good textures, but it runs at like 30fps and jagged edges like mad.
The game is only 9 levels long, and the demo is the first two levels. It took me maybe 15 minutes combined. Not a good indication of it's length, I know, but it's made me concerned.
Gonna pick it up when EB starts their T2+9$GIF promotion. Has potential for good DLC and perhaps a multiplayer feature later on. This is as close as I'll probably get to my parkour-jetsetradio-openworld-mmorpg/mmofps dream game. :)

if the game requires DLC for longevity, get it for PC.
just looks at CoD4, or Portal. great games in their own right, but on the PC people are making map after map after map for these, so the play time is endless.
waiting around for DLC on Xbox live of PSN takes months and months, if it ever comes out at all.
just my two cents. I love Xbox live, but PC versions keep pulling me back for the longevity in that sense.

yeah i noticed the jaggies to
game still looks nice tho
i was most impressed with the gameplay, it felt right, movements with controller in comparison to say R2 which disappointed me with its ice skating movement
In R2 moving left right back there was no resistance (no pun intended) in movement at all, it felt really flat

I'm pretty bad at this game. You can't see your feet when running so it's difficult to determine when to jump off a platform. It's just something I need to get used to, I guess. Graphics are beautiful though.
And for those who didn't know:

The Faith design on the left is the one we see in the trailers. The proposed design on the right was thought to be more marketable for Japan.
I noticed that Faith in the demo looks like a mix between the two.

Yeah. Saw them on 2chan a long time ago. I like the one where her tits are hanging out of her shirt, though.

very fun demo indeed...i was pleasantly surprised...
Even if you don't plan on buying it, at least give it a rental.

Demo was awesome. Apparently Setz' issues with the PS3 version aren't as noticeable in the 360 version. I dunno as I haven't tired the PS3 one. Those who played both said there seemed to be less jaggies in the 360.
Art style is still amazing.

I read some of the posts on Neogaf and consensus is
There seems to be less jaggies in the Xbox 360 version but frame rates are better on PS3 version, both have jaggies but those screenshots they released of the game on their site etc are either on the PC or doctored somehow
and it's the Unreal 3.0 engine...not the Frostbite
same issue with Battlefield bad company, the game has jaggies everywhere but the videos and screenshots they release never do...

oh and the lead platform was the PS3 this time
exclusive DLC for ps3 only
weird being an Unreal 3.0 engine game, most of the Unreal 3.0 seem to be catered for 360 since that's what it was made for (Bioshock, Gears of War, Mass effect)

I definitely prefer the second (right side) Faith. The nipplage was not needed at all.

The in-game art for Faith is much better than the promo art.

Feels like an action oriented half life with an Ikea touch. And the PS3 version is so jaggy that it cuts into your eye. I think I'll wait for this to hit the PC bargain bin.

I thought the 360 version looked absolutely fantastic.
That said, I hope the combat mechanic (disarming, sparring, etc.) gets a little more complex than, "press Y when gun is red." If we can put together some combos (though I realize avoiding this kind of interaction is the thrust of the game), I think it'll be a bit more engaging.

I don't know if there's a 360 Achievement Archive detailing the achievements, but PS3Trophies.org has the criteria for obtaining all of the trophies. Some of them require you to do combos.

That sounds about right. I thought the 360 version looks very nice (no jaggies), and I would think the PS3 version should be just as good, if not better since it was the lead platform. Anyway, this is a 2/$40 at RV kind of a game, for me at least.

You're like the people in the Matrix. You see an agent and you RUN. I love how there's an achievement (360 version, probably a trophy in the PS3 version as well) for not using a weapon once. Really emphasizes that the game is about running, not fighting.
