Is this AYCE bread, soup and salad? Or is it AYCE chicken - which 'includes bread, soup and salad' ?

For $7.95? What a joke.. maybe if it was $3.95 it would be a good value.

considering the price of salad these days, its not a bad price. If you were gonna order a side salad with your meal it would be $5.99 or more anyway

I'd prolly never do it, cause I don't eat out for lunch much but the soup makes this deal. I could have like 3 or 4 bowls of that stuff.

Is swiss chalet one of those places that "recycles food" and puts the like uneaten portions of chicken into the soup? If it is then I'll refrain from eating there but if they don't... I might try the deal some day.

Not from plates that were sent out to the dining room.
Chicken that has sat in the holding drawer in the kitchen (after lunch rush, at closing) is peeled off the bone and refrigerated. The next day it is diced to be used in soup, wraps, etc... It is the same thing that every restaurant does, as well as what most people do in their kitchen at home. It's no big secret.
