Yesterday I tried a new Vietnamese restaurant that just opened 3 days ago. The place was named Bun Pho Phu Hai & is located in Vaughan. I had Vietnamese iced milk coffee, & vermicelli with pork & spring roll. Service was fast, & the place was packed full. The food was excellent, with fairly avg prices for a Vietnamese place. It was located at 3175 Rutherford Rd, Unit #70 (inside a plaza, near Vaughan Mills, on Rutherford in between hwy 400 & jane).

I haven't been to Vaughan Mills for a year now, but there was a Vietnamese restaurant in that plaza that i went to a few times there... I think it was called Pho 99? So are there 2 Vietnamese restaurants now or did this basically take over the first one?

I hadn't been to Vaughan Mills for a long time, I did not even know there was a Pho 99 there. After shopping we saw this place in the plaza & decided to try it. This new place opened on Thursday we were told. So I don't know if they replaced Pho 99 or if there's 2 stores.

Pho 99 is beside a korean restaurant and sunrise breakfast. Same area?

Pho 99 is still there in the Bulk Barn plaza. I saw it there two weeks ago.

How is the pho in this new place?

tried it yesterday and it was just okay. the pho broth (soup) is below average i think but i am viet and have eaten at every pho joint in the GTA. the vermicilli with grilled beef was really good. the spring rolls were okay too. i say still try it since they are new and things will probably get better.

Thanks for the info. I'm planning on trying it. Pho on a cold winter day feels great. Will give my opinion afterwards.

I have been there 2 time over the last 2 weeks and i must say that when i first tried their Pho, it was ok.

On my second trip i decided it have it again and this time it was much better. I guess since they are new, they are still getting their broth down.

My friend had the vermicelli and they said it was by far the best they had.

PS: They are currently having a Grand opening promotion sales which give 10% off on all dishes. I don't know when the discount will end.

I got to try this place. The pho tasted good for a place not located in Toronto, though I thought that more noodles should've been put in. Vermicelli was very good, and they give a large portion. Spring rolls were good as well.

The restaurant is pretty nicely decorated. Two TV's. Washrooms were clean.

I'd go back to this place for sure.
