Amazon Preorders, Super saver shipping and your experience with them

Hey guys.

Been thinking of pre-ordering Wrath of the Lich King since it'll be cheaper than retail plus I basically get a free book with the 10 buck off coupon code.

If I order it with super saver shipping, how likely is it that I receive my game on the release day? If I have to wait several days for it, I'd rather just purchase it in a retail store.

Normally takes about a week for pre-orders to come in.

At least from my experience...I ordered Disgaea 3 and NBA 2K9 awhile back.

dont expect your game to arrive on release day. Best case scenario is 2 day after release.

Any1 that preorder their stuff and uses free shipping should expect a delay of some sort.

Good Service + Good Product = Expansive
Good Price + Good Service = Bad Product
Good Product + Good Price = Bad Service

You can't have them all.

I pre-ordered Rockband 2 and after the release date, got a notice that it would ship in 2 or more weeks, cancelled after that, never again lol

I've never done pre-orders, so I can't comment on that.

But free shipping is extremely fast. It ships from Mississauga so if the item is in-stock I usually get it the next day or the day after.

Its brutallll . Im still waiting on fifa 09. Guess the $10 off makes up for it.. but I dont think I'll wait again.

shipping prolly depends on where you live. since stuff ships from the sauga you might get it in a couple days after release if your in the gta.
