Seeking Help - Best Place To Upgrade Computer

Any reco's on where to go to upgrade a desktop computer? I upgraded about a year ago, but the computer needs repair. I think some parts may need to be replaced and my local computer repair store has closed. Any out there that people have been happy with (I'm in the beaches in toronto).

I want to stay away from the chain stores - don't really trust 'em!

The Yonge/Bloor is probably the closest to you.
Buy the parts and do it yourself. It's not as daunting as you would think and theres many video how to's on youtube

find a friend to do it. Or maybe ask the IT guy at your work to help you out. At this day and age, I don't see the benefit in paying an established business to upgrade your computer.

What do you want upgraded? What are you willing to pay? I am not trying to get business for yourself, but computers are sooooo cheap now, it might be better for you to get a new system....
