We have HDMI 1 <- Satellite PVR
HDMI 2 <- DVD Player.

On the tv remote you click source and it would scroll through HDMI 1/HDMI 2/TV/ANTENNA or something like that.

Now mysteriously after our 3yr old got a hold of something (we THINK, can't be certain), HDMI 1 doesn't get listed when scrolling through the sources. All we get is tv/HDMI 2...antenna? That's it.

When I went into the tv menus/input I couldn't select HDMI 1-though it wasn't greyed out or anything.

Help?

Please?

UPDATE:
Since yesterday now the same sorta problem is happening.

This time the HDMI (source selection) displays but the onscreen says "Mode not Supported".

There has been no hardware changes., at all.

I did nothing to it. Randomly the Satellite feed will kick in (like it normally should-like last night), then today when I went home for lunch wifey said, "helllllllllllllllp, it's not working again, please fix it". I went and fiddled around but no go. Now it says "mode not supported".

I'm going to unplug and replug everything back in somehow...though MNS seems to indicate that the output preference on the PVR is going BONKERS. Hey maybe it's the PVR? Ouch. That would suck.

I have the same tv.

Is it plugged in and turned on?

I have my 360 connected to it and if it's off, I don't see the HDMI source. But if I turn the 360 on and go through the sources, it sees it.

like tmpz suggested, the your reciver is might be turned off or the hdmi cable itself is not plugged in correctly anymore. If there is no physical hdmi connection and no power to the device the tv recognizes that and skips that input or at least my samsung does.

Thanks for the feedback gents (and ladies?).

Fortunately (sigh of relief LOLz), it wasn't a priority so we got a lot of stuff done in the evening. Before Bed I powered everything up again, and just-like-that it was back to normal.

Weird.

Since purchase date it's been awesome - never had anything like that happen.

Satellite was powered on. In fact (I'll double check tonight but) even if it is off HDMI 1 still appears when I'm scrolling through the source input options.

God I love this tv. Soooooo sexy!

I have the same TV, and had identical issue.
HDMI1 - HD PVR
HDMI2 - PC
No setup changed, but one day HDMI1 shows 'mode not supported'. I tried all sort of things, but couldn't fix it.

But when I turned off TV for 2 min and turned it back on, it fixed the issue. I no longer see 'mode ...'
maybe o/s for this TV is based on Windows? need 'courtesy restart' ?? :D

***This thread is for news regarding the entire LN-Txxxx series.***

****Check this first post often for news, updates, and FIRMWARES for the LN-T line.****

Current news/what we know:

1.) The entire 2007 Samsung 1080p LCD lineup is suffering from HDMI handshake issues. This is the LN-Txxxx line. This is not just video-game related, but reported units giving trouble include the Playstation 3, XBOX 360 Elite, HTPCs, and various STBs. Also reports from people with drops/flashes:

"Mac Mini (Intel); PowerMac G4 DP (with a Radeon 9xxx(?) video card); Denon 2910 - upscaling (1080i) DVD Playler (this a pure HDMI connection)" - (courtesy of Ted Todorov)

1.b.) These issues manifest themselves as dropouts (picture loss), momentary green or pink flashes etc. These may not happen for hours and hours, and then suddenly you can get hit with two or three flashes/dropouts in a short time. There appears to be no rhyme or reason to the issue.

Here is an example of a dropped signal:

**THIS ISSUE IS NOW RESOLVED**

2.) Several tech people from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support said that Samsung ARE aware of the issue and are working to fix it. There is currently NO fix available.
