From what I understand this will be the standard holiday bundle all retailers will be selling closer to the holidays and at the same price so this isn't really a deal.

Has anyone tried price matching futureshop and getting them to substitute the 2 games for ones you actually want?

Also, does anybody know what kind of manufacturing date these bundled deals have (i.e. any chance MS is trying to package up and sell off old hardware)?

btw.. lego games are fun..and the indiana jones one is good...

but ya.. 300 dollars for a 60gb pro with 3 games.. that would be such a wicked deal lol... im sure if u didnt want the games u could sel nhl 09 sealed for 45.. indiana jones for 30 and kung fu panda for maybe 30... meaning u could get the bare 60gb console for around 175-185 ish..

This is the Holiday Bundle, not a hot deal.

This will be the regular price everywhere, so there's no point in price matching or trying to switch the games. And I don't know why people would think these are old stock XBOXs.

However, the Dell and Rogers deals seem to add a bit more value if you're looking for an extra controller/NHL 09.

I believe Rogers was the non-holiday bundle...unless someone can confirm otherwise. Hmm...worth my time to drag my butt in to the store and check.

Perhaps this isn't a 'hot' deal because it's the new standard but the new standard is hotter than the 'old' standard which most stores are still selling. Also, I'd assume the TIV on the standard holiday bundle games is going to drop like a rock, so if anybody is able to PM with a store that doesn't have the holiday bundle yet, that would be hot IMO.

The timeframe for doing that kind of PM would also be pretty limited, assuming futureshop and other stores will have the holiday bundle soon.

yeah i got the holiday bundle 60gb version and nhl 09 all for 299$ before taxes. i doubt you could get anything for the indiana jones and kung fu panda though, it comes in 1 case for both games and on the front of the case it says not packaged for individual sale, so i dunno. i was going to buy nhl 09 anyways so this was a great deal for me regardless of the 2 extra games (which i've yet to open haha)

Lego indie is a pretty decent game, but the movie suck big time.
Indie was raped by George & Steven(so true in South Park).
