I discovered lots of nice stuff on this forum, I thought I'd share this deal with whoever is interested :cheesygri

It's 35$ and it usually retails for 75$ or more, so it's a pretty good deal whether it's for you or for a gift.

I went in store and they said the deal is only online but you can choose the pick-up option for the shipping and it will be shipped to the Sears store of your choice and you can go collect it.

thanks - ordered one. Didn't know that pickup from a store now adds a handling charge of $3.

Nice price.. wow.

difference b/w the black vs blue?
Blue smells better. IIRC black smells like mango or some weird fruit thing.. which makes me wonder what the creators were thinking. How on earth is this 'black'?

.. and thus the birth of Double Black :/

I went to the store and the lady gave me a sample, at first it smelled bad because she put a lot of it on this tiny piece of paper, but after a while the smell was more subtle and nice. As long as you don't empty the bottle on your head, it should smell nice

And I don't know how to describe a smell with words so the only way to know would be to go to a store and ask for a sample.

I preferred the Double Black but the Black is also ok. And it doesn't smell like mango. More like very ripe mango. J/K :cheesygri

One cannot possibly overstate the difference between how Polo Black smells on paper, in magazine inserts, in shower gel, aftershave, etc. and how it smells on skin once dried. A lot of negative reaction seems to be to the 'iced mango' accord, which I personally love, that is similar to other fruity openings in other modern fragrances. Once dry, Black develops into a masculine, spicy scent that is both inviting and rich. As a lover of the original Polo, I find Black to be one of my favorite alternatives and go-to colognes when nothing else strikes my fancy.

True, this is a pretty hot deal when looking at the actual price of the cologne alone: http://www.sears.ca/gp/product/B0011UYCKM/ref=pd_huc_gp_3/105-4649080-7419654?ie=UTF8&searsBrand=core

But the penny-pincher inside me tells me to finish the full bottle of Swiss Army classic I have and then purchase that again for the modest $20.00 price tag.

Personally, I think the extra charge is just a money grab and will significantly affect their online sales by discouraging buyers .
