I was thinking, people are taking flights from the states b/c it's cheaper. Is it any cheaper to take an all inclusive vacation flying out of the states, say syracuse or buffalo going to Mexico or Dom Rep.

I was looking into it a minute ago, and it doesn't seem to be any cheaper, particularly with the current exchange rate. Now in USA they use regular airlines more often, so you can get a flexible deal, like 10 day, where in Canada it mostly charters and it's either 1 week or 2. Again, if you have a specific hotel in mind which is not serviced by canadian tour agencies you are better off going from US.

I was looking around at some sites too and found wicked like $99 3-4 day deals if you're travelling within next month but they leave from like Atlanta and stuff.
