Club Amigo ~ Varadero

Anybody been to this resort? Signature vacations has a great deal there $598 one week all inclusive from Toronto. I've been to Superclubs Breezes Jibicoa and it's really the only place I thought I'd go back to, but seeing this deal is making me think twice. Looks beautiful but it is only a 3-star place so I'm not sure what to expect. So, wondering if anyone's been to this resort and what they thought of it. TYIA.

I always try www.tripadvisor.com and see what people who have recently stayed there have to say. I always take the reviews with "a grain of salt" but if many people are whining about the same thing - food, the beach or whatever, things that are important to me, I'd think twice. If they are complaining about minor things, how far from the airport (which they should know about before they book) or watering down the drinks, that wouldn't sway my decision.

Yeah, I should have thought of tripadvisor, hell I posted a review of the resort I was at on the site...lol. I'll check it out, but if anyone here has been there, I'd still like to hear about it...:)
