i decided to go last minute today and so it should be interesting trying to get tickets. the game's at 1pm at the ACC. there should be about 4 ppl going.

is there anything i should know about the act of scalping? ask when the game started? possibility of getting cheaper than face values? cheap/good places to park?

im really new at this.

Negotiate with them, give them a reasonable price and say you want it that price, if they don't give you then move on to the next scalper. Of course, they are waiting for you to bite on a price, so be patient.

I have heard if you go after the first period, the tickets are as cheap as half price...so YMMV

once the tickets are below face value, is it still called scalping?

There will be more face value games as the Leafs tank the season.

Don't kid yourself, I was offered a large amount of money for my season tickets. I also have people offering me much more than face value for individual games.

Leafs tickets are as high in demand as ever.

but it wasnt a problem getting cheap tickets....missed about 13 min of the 1st period, got $90 tickets for $40 each! i was so happy to get these.

not only was the game full of goals and breakaways, there was OT and a shootout. i was very satisfied with this game and thanksgiving in general. :D

Congratulations on the good deal. I would like to see a Maple Leafs game this winter; maybe that's the way to do it. :)
