I am a psychology student at the University of Guelph. After studying about all these studies I decided to conduct one of my own. Now I need a good sample size, which translates to getting as many participants as possible. If you have decent (high-school level) reading skills and have 15 minutes to spare please help me out.

Done!
Your prediction was wrong, and after viewing the 3rd article of Part#1, I predicted it would be.
It's probably not a good idea to discuss the specific reasons for my choices here in this thread as it might skew other RFDers' future results, but what I will say is that I believe you'd have a better result if the only difference between the articles was formatting, and not content or writing style. Unless of course your prediction was based on a carefully calculated weighting of such variables - ie: considering if the average person would react negatively or positively to those considerations and how much each would weigh negatively or positively on their overall 'like' or 'dislike' of the article. And for all I know it may have been, and failed on me, because I am far from 'average'. ;)
Oh, and HEY!.. I missed the part where it should have said "Please submit your name & address so I can send you your remuneration cheque of $10" :D

Haha I wish I had enough money for that.

Haha I wish I had enough money for that.No problemo.. I was just kidding. If it had been your first post here on RFD, then maybe I would be saying "show me the money!", but you've been a member here for over 3 years so I'm happy to help out a fellow RFDer.
Took me less than 5 minutes to complete, too.
Whether the prediction was accurate or not, interesting stuff! :D

Thanks. It doesn't matter if it's accurate or not, just answer honestly. No prediction can be 100%.

Completed, hope it helps but the predictions weren't too accurate.

The prediction was incorrect for me as well, which is interesting, as there is a clear pairing of articles from the first and second sections. I'm wondering if either a) the OP has mixed up a variable or b) the intent of the survey/prediction is not what it appears to be.
