This is a copy that I just sent to my insurance company - short version, in 2008, even when I have 6 fax confirmations on my side, my insurance company can't confirm I sent it....

Disappointment
I received a quote from Desjardin to add myself to the policy number as above (which we have both auto insurance and house insurance with you). I was requested to send a letter of reference and abstract to fax 18003921870, which I did with a cover letter with my name etc. + policy number and was told to call back within a day or 2 to confirm it was received - this was Sept 30. I re-sent on Oct 3 and phoned again to confirm. "Not received" - I have fax confirmation that it was sent. Resent to Attn: MARIA and left my personal cell number to confirm fax was received. No call from Maria so I phoned her directly and left a voice mail message - she did not return my call. Resent fax on Oct 6, again to Maria's attention. Called to confirm it was received. It was not, however the person that I spoke with said the policy would be underwritten anyway - a glimmer of hope! Called to confirm fax received - was not received and I was told this time it can not be underwritten. This time I was also given a new fax number to send it to - 18772301243 and to the attention of policy admin on Oct 9 - called to confirm receipt on Oct 10. No confirmation. Resent all information again to BOTH fax numbers and also attached my fax confirmation from a previous fax. Called on Oct 10 - no confirmation and was told to call on Sat. Oct 11. Spoke with Balgesh who frantically searched for any of these, was accidentally hung up on, called back and he finally found it!!!!! He was awesome.
As of Saturday morning, 8 hours before I was to leave the country for 2 weeks, and 3 days before my current policy expires, I was finally able to do more business with you. I just hope I never have to put a claim through.....
