when I posted, that thread was buried - see the last post there was Sept 29, and he posted just shortly after I did.

They don't know what it is, but a suspicious package discovered at College Station was enough to close down the underground TTC stop at a little after 10pm Friday.

The package caused Toronto Police's bomb disposal unit to rush to the scene and TTC officials evacuated the station in the Yonge and Carlton area.

Overall subway service was not disrupted though trains were being redirected from the area.

Service at the station resumed shortly after midnight.
