i have a pair of Battle in Seattle movie tickets up for grabs. i dont feel like doing a contest, but anyone that replies to this by next friday has a chance at them. i dont want to necessarily do first come first serve either. i dont consider it fair. So we are going to debate the movie. The one with the most thought-provoking ideas wins the tickets. i'll only give them away if you seem genuinely interested in the movie.

Does the movie look good?
what do you think about the WTO and globalization?
what do you think of the cast?
do you protest? do you think protesting is effective?

I tried your link and for soem reason it did not work for me but anyway I am going to reply with something I find kind of interesting. Today I saw a mini poster for it and found this interesting the director is stuart townsend who some might know as charlize theron love interest in real life. anyway based on this same mini posaters she is actually the last star listed. it makes me wonder who decided on that. anyway the only other thing i know about this movie is something i heard charlize say durning the TIFF and that even though she has worked with stuart before his work on this job showed her a sign she never expected or knew stuart had. i think it might be intereesting if that comes through on screen even though as i understand he is never on camera.

i've been reading up about this film for a little while now, there are slew of protest clips on youtube flying around
interesting review of the film here. (http://movielooker.com/?p=12)
from everything i've read, woody seems to have done a good job in his role.

I saw this movie at TIFF in the fall of 2007. It was definitely worth going to see. No one particular actor stood out as it is more of an ensemble film, but all involved did a very good job.
For those of you wondering, Woody Harrelson plays a cop on riot squad duty, and Charlize plays his pregnant wife, who gets stuck downtown in the middle of everything trying to leave work after the riots start.

habsfan, what would you rate the movie? What was the best part of it, and is it true you see dexter's sister's ta-ta(s)?
