I am starting my dream job soon on the 20th (have to fly down to San Jose, CA for meeting and training)
a week before that, id like to try to take a break by going on a short road trip
need to limit it to around 3 days
or even just 2 days 1 night
i can drive for quite a long time without stopping but of course i want to relax on this trip
any ideas?
btw im in Burnaby
my friend suggested Seattle or Okanagan
but i dont know what to do there in this type of weather

Don't bother with Seattle because it's very similar to Vancouver. Why not drive out to Harrison Hot Springs and just relax?

Maybe Tofino over on Vancouver Island? Or drive around the island exploring the various towns?

+1. We did it back last summer and it was gorgeous!! You pretty much cruise at 80km/hr and enjoy the scenery. Good for gas mileage when you're cruising at that speed too. ;)

Go visit Okanagan wineries, get trashed in a small town, and enjoy the Rockies.
Small town girls are fun to hang with!
