Yes, it is brand new with 3 year warranty (Intel). Same one that you find from all major computer store, the sealed box.

might be interested, let me do some research first though, I don't know if it's compatible with my eVGA 680i mobo. I don't want to risk buying the cpu and then cough up another $200 for a new compatible mobo
