Has anyone had an interview for the Taxpayer Services Agent position? I've recently been called to one and just wanted to know in advance what to expect. Thanks!:)

If I may ask, when did you write your CBBQ and CBOQ? How long did it take to get your result?

Mostly its just oral testing, they give you a document to read and questions and you must find the answers in the document and explain them orally. then there is a test where they give you a scenerio (planning a coworkers materity party), you have to come up with a way to plan it. It was pretty easy.

I did test for wonderic and writing skill test. I passed those tests. I am waiting for next step. I did not take test CBBB whatever. Job title is same. Still same interview like what you said right?.I am pretty nervous about my interview.

Have you previously written the CBBQ or CBOQ? Are you a trasnfering student from FSWEP or something? Seems odd that you would have skipped the CBOQ/BBQ. How long ago did you write those tests (Wonderlic/Eng.Skills)?

Hi Canuck, you have posted this thread back in Oct. Have you gone to the interview yet? How was it? Was it the same as what was posted on this thread? I applied for the same position too and was called for the interview as well. I don't know what to expect as well.
Any one else had this interview already? Please help. I don't know where to start to prepare for it because don't know what to expect! Any kind of help would be appreciated!

Hi jobseeker, how did it go? 30-45 minutes seem long.
Just wondering what questions would be asked in the interview. I have one coming up so wondering what I should prepare ahead of time. I was asked to bring 2 work references. Can I give both from one company or does it have to be different companies?
Thanks for any help offered.

I just got invited to an interview for the CRA- Taxpayer Services Agent position for Toronto Centre. Does anyone have any tips or advice for me?
Feel free to private msg me if you want to be confidential. I really want to pass as I have been dieing to get into the CRA for a long long time. My long term goal is to become a full designated CA or CMA as a Tax Auditor for the CRA.

Hi All,
I got an email from the ICAO confirming that the CRA is not an approved work experience for the CA designation. Its ok for CGA or CMA but not CRA.
Please visit the following link for a complete directory of CA Training Offices:

I had the interview so what Darko said is correct regarding the interview for the Tax Payer Services Agent position.

I just wrote the Wonderlic and the writing skills test today, but I never got invited to write the CBBQ or CBOQ. Is that normal? I've worked tons of customer service jobs before, but I doubt they'd skip the testing on my part just because of that.

Hi All:
Thank you for reading this post. I have an interview coming up for the above position and trying to prepare for it. The job posting says they are going to test the following using locally developed tolls:
* Ability to Research Information (pass mark 60%)
* Ability to Deal with Difficult Situations (pass mark 60%)
* Ability to Adapt to Change (pass mark 60%)
* Ability to Demonstrate CRA Core Values (pass mark 60%)
* Ability to Communicate Effectively (pass mark 60 %)
Are these going to be part of interview process? How would it be constructed?
Please share your experience.
Thank you for your time.

Hi!
May I ask if you took your Wonderlic etc. on August 15 in TO? If so, when did they e-mail you the results?
Thanks......rtl

Wow, that's not biased towards women at all. I'm sure most guys know exactly how to plan a maternity party.
