Hello, I am a just out of university graduate this summer
Having sorted out the previous passion of life, I am beginning to tackle CMA route via accelrated program.

I came from Economics major I gotta take few accounting courses and 1 statistics so I am planning to go back to school for a half semester and a summer session.

I know the accelrated program holds session only on saturday and lasts 8 months.

I guess I should have some free time til the day I sit on for the entrance exam
for those of you focusing on CMA program after graduation like me, not from accounting major, what jobs had you been doing? or have u been doing for those preparing the CMA exam right now.
I have thought about getting a accounting diploma but for time-wise and moneywise I chose to follow accelrated program.
Doing a diploma accounting program seems time-consuming and I really want to get out of academia badly.

On the website it says it's recommended to have some business experience but i heard it's doable without any biz experience on this board.
I will look for financial related jobs while i am completing the program. but is there any suggestions as to gettinng a job in CMA field for future benefits?

I will take your advices as life wisdom please suggest me any.
Thank you for your help
