I am looking to purchase the 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. With their recent promotion, they are selling it for $24488, saying a savings of $4750. Sounds awesome and everything. But if one wants to finance it, the rates for 60 months is 6.99%, when tones of Jap cars and American cars are offering 0% at this moment (especially the 08' models).

Has anyone bought this car and was able to get a good deal?

Anyone would help!

Well currently they're running the cash rebate and finance incentives (3 mo Payments Free) which ends tomorrow. So i guess you can hold out for Oct to see if anything new comes up.

But you are right, the 0% in the long run will probably offset more than the cash rebates they're offering right now. Especially in your case as the current rate on the Wrangler (Unlimited) is 6.79%/48 Months, or 8.29%/60 Months. Which I think are their standard APR rates (no discounts).

Wow! You sure know the details of this car. You looking in to it too?

You are absolutely right. The $4500 allowance will attract you to walk in to their showroom. And if one is not fully alert of what 6.9% is in the long run, then he is digging himself a big hole in their bank.
