Black friday

who's planning on going this year? what area are you planning on shopping in and what are you looking for??

I'm going before Black Friday, down to Grove City to the outlet mall there. Black Friday itself is either going to be much lighter or much more insane this year because of the economic stuff, and I'd lean towards the more insane. If you're going down for it, go down the day before, as most stuff starts at midnight the day of, and be prepared to get a hotel for a night before heading back, because the border will be rammed.

I plan on going but Seattle area (down to Frys and back up, including outlets, CC, BB, etc). Of course thats assuming at least 1 store's flier actually interest me... (i.e. have items i plan on buying). Otherwise i'll just goto class...:cheesygri

going the day before? that means ur going on christmas? or is black friday some other day? i thought it was friday after xmas.. which is boxing day here..

Gonna be in Vegas at that time... Planning on going to the outlets with my GF at midnight :S I'm the offical bag carrier!

grappos13, Black Friday is the Friday after the US Thanksgiving. This year it's Nov. 28th. We've done Black Friday for quite a few years now, we plan it all out, watch for the leaked flyers and plan to be on the bridge by 4am.

There are already a couple of threads on this topic and hopefully a mod will merge them before this gets out of hand.
