In the future, I would like to immigrate to the USA, and live there permanently. I am currently a business undergrad at a Canadian university. I would like to become an professional accountant in the future.

The first option is to become a CA in Canada (hence my other post about big 4 training positions in Canada), and write the exam to become an American CPA, and then immigrate to the USA once I have my CPA via a big 4 intracompany transfer.

However, it would be nice if I could immigrate to the USA ASAP. Is it possible to get hired by the big 4 in the USA as a Canadian right after graduation? If yes, how would I get hired? Would it be on a TN visa? A H1 visa? Or would the accounting firm sponsor me for a green card? Do American Big 4 offices sponsor foreigners? I would prefer a green card, so I can become a citizen sooner.

I am Canadian (born in Canada), and I don't have any relatives in the USA that can sponsor me.

The big 4 in the U.S. or in any other country (U.K, U.A.E, etc) will only sponsor experienced employees.
Your chances of landing a job with the big 4 in Canada are greater than in the U.S.

I am a Canadian and a CPA.
