Home Depot wants CA$149.00, seen US web sites for US$82.79, 89.95, 93.96 etc. Am I wasting time trying to PM at HD, i.e. currency/shipping? Don't really want to cross the border to get one...any ideas or advice? (The HD 10% off first new HD credit card purchase will be saved for bigger ticket item, like shed, for future - the wife applies and cancels to do this for me, last time Weber.)

Nope.

Hate to run a one-person thread, but with the aim of helping others that may have stumbeld across this on a web search, always go for it - the worst thing is they say "no". HD Elgin Mills / 404 did it no probem on a beauty Sunday morning. I didn't quibble about them not taking 10% off the (American $ US web site, subject to shipping and duties:) ) competitor's price.

This radio ROCKS! Crystal clear sound that really carries, already broken in with first BBQ. Get one, you'll like it.

If you like music/news/traffic/weather/sports to go pretty much anywhere with no worries, this thing is bullet proof and loud. Research the web or better yet, talk to local pro contractors and construction folk who beat on and enjoy these daily. The "job site radio" competition pales - Milwaukee rules this "tool" category (and supposedly others). ROCK ON!
