UPDATE: Future Shop will begin selling the iPhone 3G in Canada on October 1st, 2008

Beginning October 1st, 2008the Apple iPhone 3G will be available for purchase at select Future Shop locations across Canada. The Apple iPhone took the world by storm in 2007 and was anxiously awaited by Canadians earlier this year when it was refreshed as the new iPhone 3G. This popular smartphone includes an integrated camera, apowerful web-browser, a smart email client and access to millions of songs, applications and games online.


The iPhone 3G will be initially available at 15 Future Shop locations:
· Vancouver- Broadway,Robson, Coquitlam Centre, and West Vancouver
· Calgary- Shawnessy and Northland
· Edmonton- Edmonton West
· Torontoarea - Downtown Toronto, Yonge& Eglinton, Eglinton& Laird, Vaughan,and Heartland
· Ottawa- Ottawa South
· Montreal- Centreville and Marche Central

This is news? Don't all Rogers dealers normally sell the iPhone?

It was news to me FS did not sell them.

That's fake. There is no way in hell that Futureshop will sell iPhones before the Apple store.

Rogers didn't want to let Apple sell them at their store, so what makes you think that Apple would let Rogers sell it at Futureshop :lol:

Rogers didn't want to let Apple sell them at their store, so what makes you think that Apple would let Rogers sell it at Futureshop :lol:

lmfao, u got it mixed up (iirc).

Apple doesn't want to sell iphones at their store because of Roger's stupid plan and pricing, so they dont want to promote it for rogers.

Sure that's a possibility... but I just posted from what I heard from Apple and Rogers employees. Of course, they can talk out of their ass, but I still posted it.
