Rogers 2/$40 (East Regina only?)...

Thought this would be worth posting, as I know there are at least a few Regina RFD'ers that frequent the 2/$40 Rogers sales.

Only the East Regina Rogers seems to be doing the 2/$40 sale on previously played games in Regina right now, but they have a decent selection.

Titles of note that I saw there:
- Mario Super Sluggers (Wii) X 2
- We Love Golf (Wii) X 2
- Boom Blocks (Wii)
- Too Human (360) X 2
- Soul Calibur IV (PS3) X 2

They have quite a spread of Wii, 360, and PS3 games, so there may be some more gems in there. They also seem to be clearing out most, if not all, of their PSP games.

Anyone see this in scarborough? I'll call a few stores around me but usually it's only one that has the promo going on.

I suspect they are simply doing the promo at that particular location because they had such an abundance of games they wanted to clear out. The cashier had to manually do the $20 prices on checkout... they had the signs up and such, but no actual promo code to scan.

So, no telling how long they'll run it for... and if they'll add more games next week.

if i were over there this is what'd i'd do...go buy all the soul calibur 4s as it's 2/40 and trade'em all into EB for $35/each and rack up credit on a gift card, goto another eb and say you wanna cash out lol.

Although what you have suggested is perfectly legal, it does not serve the best interest of your fellow RFDers. Sure, you can make a profit, but other RFDers will lose the opportunity to buy a game they want at 2/$40. When I went to the local Roger's for this deal, I only picked up one copy of MGS4 and GTAIV even though I could have cleaned the shelves and make a profit at EB/BBV. But if your conscience say this is okay, then go right ahead.

Yeah, I don't do any of the TIV stuff. I'm kept busy enough just ebaying my own collection to keep my funds up for new stuff. I'll nab a second game to round out a 2/$40, and ebay it if I couldn't find something I wanted to keep.. but other than that, I just post what I find here.

...since I know of at least three other RFD'ers that wander through the Regina Rogers Videos.
