Update: It appears the $569 price has been pulled. The price is back up to $599 now, sorry everyone.

It looks like the price on the Inspiron 13 notebook has dropped a little further this week. After a launch price of $699, we saw a nice price cut to $599 last week, and it's down another $30 this week, which means can get a Pentium Dual Core T2390 equipped Inspiron 13 Laptop for $569 (http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=CAqD7bLWUPI&offerid=137979.689455106&type=10&subid=) with the following specs:

Intel Pentium Dual Core T2390 (1.86GHz/533Mhz FSB/1MB cache)
Windows Vista Home Basic Edition SP1
Glossy, widescreen 13.3" LCD (1280x800) w/o Camera
2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz
160GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
8X Slot Load CD / DVD Burner (Dual Layer DVD+/-R Drive)
Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g Mini Card
4 Cell Battery
1 Year Return to Depot Service and Technical Support

If you're looking at some potential upgrades, a 6-cell battery is $79 and Vista Home Premium is $30. Unfortunately, there are no processor upgrades offered at this time. Shipping is free.

the policy is, the more consumer return products, the higher price you pay for products.

Thanks for that useful contribution to the discussion.

To actually answer the question (well, partially), Dell has a restocking fee, but I forget what it is exactly.

restocking fee is only for refurbished products...

for brand new items... no restocking fee, plus they pay for the shipping to send it back to them.

I think that's only for business line of product, such as Vostro?

Anyway, I just talked to the customer service and replaced my $599 order.

Thanks OP!
