Where are the PS3 deals? You'd figure with the price drop on the XBox360 retailers would atleast try to make things more competitive.

I want to get a PS3, looking for a deal, it doesnt matter to me what kind it is (40,80, Special Editions).

It's wierd that the 40 and 80 cost the same at most places.

These are hardly ever marked down because the margin is low.
With the new 160GB coming, you might see some sales.
There was a futureshop poster misprint out east for the MGS4 80GB bundle about a month ago for $349, which was a big mistake as it retails for $499 and a few lucky RFDers capitalized on it with successful pricematches (like me :D ).

SixNations reserve has new ones and don't charge tax but that's a far drive from North York.

The chart half way down the page might help you differentiate, there are key differences between models and firmware...

This might be a interesting read (http://kotaku.com/5055311/sony-price-dropping-40gb-ps3-model-this-weekend)

"According to a Blockbusters' memo leaked to us today Sony is permanently dropping the price of the discontinued 40GB model of the Playstation 3 starting Sunday.

The price drop, which was verified by calls to a number of Blockbuster stores, will drop the 40GB model to $360 and an PS3 40GB bundle with an HDMI cable, Spiderman the movie and Transformers the game to $400. Stores that have trade-ins of the PS3 40GB will be selling it for $360 as well."
