I sent him $35 via EMT for a special edition gears of war game. He said he sent it to me after he received the money, but after 2 weeks i got nothing. He said he went to the post office and the package was lost and was found at some pier or something.....so again i got excited and waited another 2 weeks. Still nothing and now he just ignores my e-mails....I know $35 isnt much but I dont come from a wealthy family...so to me it is a lot of money. I dont know if i can actually do anything to get my money back? because to be honest i feel my whole RFD experience has been soured and i wont ever do any EMT or paypal purchases, I just want my money back......beware RFDers DO NOT deal with this person, he is a liar and a thief.

the highlighted red shows the EMT payment i made to you, everything above it is any and every purchase and deposits made since and the date it was done. if everyone looks closely there has NOT been any money sent back to me from you sir, only a deposit made by myself on July, 31st. so please, give me my refund. good day to you.

You should have refunded his money long time ago, every legit seller would do that. Ignoring pm during a transaction is not a good sign either.

Another thing, you come in to all my FS threads calling me a scammer and a thief when yet you don't know the whole deal and what has happened on both sides. Yet, you still call me a scammer, idiot. This is in between me and Mario, I stopped responding to his messages because of all his hate mail shortly after he sent me a message saying that he would tell his mom saying his mom would get the police after me. So next time you accuse anyone of being a scammer you should actually think to yourself "Do I know wtf I am talking about?" because you don't. Thanks.:)

Seems like he has a history of losing items in the mail...On one of his feedback his buyer stated the shipment was lost but got a full refund...Coincidence? I think not. But he might come through this time...Since he's been exposed.

I am still convince that he tried to pull a fast one on Sosaductive...Ignoring numerous PM's is an indication that something is not right.

Hope you get the package or your money back Sosaductive.

Don't think if you can...once you confirmed the transaction that money is gone...you cannot file a claim with your Bank if you get ripped off.

xecutor light asked me in an e-mail to conclude this thread by saying we resolved the issue to protect his reputation on RFD and that he would send me the item i paid for. i sent him an email saying that i am hesitant to because i dont trust him, but i will ask the admin to close this thread once i have the item in my hands, and i am even willing to give him a positive feedback when the issue has been resolved. i also asked him when he will send me the item and when i can expect to receive it, i sent him the e-mail on the 27th and am waiting response. will keep this thread updated :)

Why are you accepting his schedule? You should be laying down the rules, ie. Xpresspost with photos & tracking number and shipped the first day he renegotiated with you. Any decent seller would make every effort to complete a hassle-free trade and earn your feedback. So why are you so forgiving and offering Positives? A positive equals a enjoyable, safe and satisfactory trade. Having read your story and his replies this doesn't fit a positive feedback.

At the very least, keep this thread open. When you receive and test it for 3-5 days without problems then post a "Neutral" rating with a link to this thread. He's fortunate he's not banned, a "Negative" rating is the least of his worries. Why isn't he trying harder to correct mistakes?

your both right, i sent him an e-mail yesterday saying he should sent it asap. i also noticed he was selling the game for $30 instead of the $35 that i paid for it, so i said the extra $5 should make up for the time it takes u to go and ship it. :( still no response from him since September 29, 2008 2:21:01 PM.

$35 x ten people = a reason to scam. I'm not saying he scammed ten people but if you steal small amounts from many people it adds up to be a significant amount. I'm sure you've all heard of unscrupulous software companies who steal small amounts of $20 from people's debit accounts and most people will never notice but the frequency of those transactions all add up to millions of dollars in their pocket.

Listen, this might be your first online buy/sell, count yourself lucky, $35 isnt much. Some people got scam out of $500+ or $1000+. Learn from this and dont make the same mistake. ALWAYS do a background check, email/username/name/phone number/address/etc.. If worst comes to worst, report to the police or get help.

I was scammed once :evil: it didnt felt good, but i took it as my exp. And i never got scam, so far :cheesygri

I just wanted to add who doesn't use a service with tracking for that type of item/shipment and compounded by the problems talked about in this thread. Maybe it cost a dollar or something more to upgrade from generic parcel to ground or even expedited.

sorry to say man but I think you got scammed. if it shows up I'm going to be really surprised. He should have sent you a copy of the receipt from the tellar worst case. Something smells fishy.

Sorry to say, you were scammed.

$35 isn't much, I was scammed $400 for a "deal" I made on here. Great experience, probably would have paid $500 if I had known that it'd give me an exact sense of who to deal with and who to avoid.

The scammer is obviously pathetic. Even if the item arrives (which in this case would be a miracle IMO), I would NEVER deal with this person on here, and I hope he gets banned as soon as possible. We don't need trash on here.

AFAIK, all parcel shipments made within canada have tracking. It's when you ship to the US that you have to get expedited shipping or what not.



I was actually THIS close to giving this guy $35 for the game too because i really wanted the game. Sorry to hear that you're currently getting jipped but i also gotta say thanks seductive for putting this thread up because if you didn't then this guy would have been up another 35.

AFAIK, all parcel shipments made within canada have tracking. It's when you ship to the US that you have to get expedited shipping or what not.

That's what I thought as well. And they are all insured for up to $100.

A key to enjoyable trading is good communication. For long-distance trading requiring pre-payment & shipping I recommend buyer/sellers confirming over the phone. Long-distance calls are dirt cheap just pennies a minute. A phone call won't prevent scams but it does confirms a person's ID, address & phone service provider. For large items always request a Land Line and reverse look-up contact info. Sending photos from the post office with tracking number is even better.

Xecuter Light could have reassured sosaductive and phoned with updates. Ignoring 1 PM is bad enough but to let this drag out so long is crazy. Wouldn't he want to keep track of this thread and make sure his package arrived?

When a trade goes so wrong that it warrants a Scammers & Warnings thread - Wouldn't a seller want to resolve it correctly and repair his reputation? This is what RFDers are suggesting - it's not the $35. A seller should treat all buyers with the same respect & attention whether they spend $10 or $600.

sosaductive -> wait for your package tomorrow. If it doesn't arrive you must post Xecuter Light's full contact info so RFDers can avoid him (in case he creates multiple accounts). Even if your purchase arrives this was a very poor trade and deserves a negative. Dude, would you give me $35 and let me treat you like crap and ignore you, pretend to care, lie to you about shipping, ignore you again, reply, ignore, ignore and nothing...of course you wouldn't so don't allow Xecuter Light to kick you in the nuts repeatedly.

You can still ship small items(like a CD) in envelopes with just regular postage, no tracking. Anything shipped in a box automatically gets tracking and $100 insurance.

I have told op before to take the money and run. at that time scammer was in a two way situation- scamming for $35 or save reputation. he might as well go for the later. But week later he/she realized that "enough" damage has been done and there is no place for him/her in this forum anyway, so he/she kept the money.

A good lesson learned, "hit the iron when it's red"
