Hey guys, I'm driving around a super old 1997 Toyota Camry, and it's time to replace the spark plugs on it. I was just wondering where I would be able to find some NGK ones or OEM Toyota ones. I'm in Mississauga, so the closer the better, but I'm willing to travel a bit to get some. I've checked online, and the pricing seems to be around 11-15 a set.

Also, if you guys have any tried and trusted sites that I could get them from, that would be great as well!

Thanks in advanced guys!

If it's either the 4 cyl, or 6 cyl engine you need...
NGK spark plug # - BKR6EKPB-11 (Stock # 3452) with a gap of 0.044. These are the best available from NGK for your Camry.

You can call NGK Canada directly here...

NGK Spark Plugs Canada Limited
505 Apple Creek Blvd. Unit 1
Markham, Ontario
L3R 5B1
Telephone # (905) 477-7780 Toll Free 1-877-2-SPARKY
Facsimile # (905) 477-7765 Toll Free 1-877-3-SPARKY

Ask them where you can find these plugs if you are having difficulty. Hope this helps. :)

Also try Napa Auto Parts. I found original GM Delco Iridium spark plugs which are made by NGK for my car there.

Sorry, yeah it's a 4 cylinder. I will try checking out Napa, and if that fails, I'll try calling the NGK number. From what my dad told me though, Crappy Tire doesn't sell NGK. I will ask my friend who works there just to be sure though.

Thanks for the help guys!

Seems no one told you where to get OEM plugs. They are normally available at the dealer.
If you are concerned about the age of the plugs, you should be equally concerned about the plug wires. They are equally or more apt to fail or create ignition related problems as the plugs.

CT does sell NGK's....but they usually carry the lower line types & not the OE platinum's or iridiums.....for example....the NGK Iridium IX series of plugs is not the same as OE iridiums.....the IX series is good for 50,000 km's.....the OE iridiums are good for 3 times that. ;)

Since you only need 4 plugs however......I say just get them at your local Toyota dealer...they can't be that expensive.....I got 6 Denso iridium OE plugs at my Lexus dealer for my 2005 ES 330for about $8.00 each which is very reasonable for these plugs. :)
