Not to be a pain but why start a new thread for snowblower information when one is already perfectly going?

You have to add to cart before the discounted price of $226 shows.
Looks like a good deal for light duty snow blower, especially in the city.

In for one. Price before tax US$214.39 (with NY tax $231.54).
There's an additional $25 off when using a VISA card (coupon on VISA.com web site).
Thanks OP!

No, he means it throws.
And for the record, rather spend a few hundred more and buy the 2-stage Ariens 520e.

For less than $250, I think I will keep this blower. Don't know about you guys, but I'd rather keep a few hundreds in my pocket/bank.

In for the deal.
Ya, Ya... there are alot of better snowblowers (throwers) out there.
But for the price, you just can't beat it.
Under $250 for a snowblower??? Can't even get a used one up here for that! Even if having to pay taxes at the border when picking it up, it's still about $300 CAD for a NEW snowblower which for most people will suit their residential needs.
Thanks OP!

It does not appear to be self-propelled. I'd suggest self-propelled is very desirable.

Any tips checking out with a Canadian billing address? The only available options are US addresses.
I tried using a US address, then called Customer service to change it, but all they could do is cancel the order.
For $214 I would make the drive.

Couldn't resist, ordered one. Came out to $231.54 including US taxes, now I will have to pay the Cad taxes on my way back. Still cheap.:D

Could you detail how you managed to order it online? The website doesn't accept Canadian addresses. Did you enter in a dummy US address? Also, what did you use to pay for the purchase (ex. US Visa card? US Sears card? CAD Sears card?)?
I'm trying to purchase it for pickup at the Buffalo location but I can't figure out how to complete the order.
FYI, the website has an additional automatic 10% off Lawn and Garden products when purchasing online.

So - is this a good machine? Should people really look into getting one for $300 after taxes at the border?
The border charges you, what 12% taxes here in Ontario on the item?
Does this thing fit in trunk of a Mazda 3 car?

I picked mine up on Saturday in Niagara Falls and paid the 13% at the border (Ontario, eh?!).
It comes with a quart of 4 cycle winter oil and a vial of gas stabilizer good for 2 1/2 gallons of gas. According to the manual the oil must be changed after the first 5 hours and 50 hours thereafter.
Overall it runs well, but it's not snowing yet! The only complaint I have is that on the unit I got the chute crank was hitting the handle bar, but 15 minutes to remove the handle bar and a few minor 'adjustments' with a rubber mallet fixed that.

Picked mine up in Niagara Falls today.
comes fully assembled and with what the previous poster mentioned.
Started up first shot and runs smooth.
Now just to see how it performs in the snow!!! This is the only time I've actually felt that I WANT it to snow, lol :)
Total with taxes from NY and CAN, just under $270 CAD. Gotta love it!
Good luck all with getting yours.
